SIBYL - Chloe and Lily Holgate
SIBYL: Lily and Chloe Holgate hail from a family of Broadway musicians/actors and have been making music together since they were children. A recent top winner of WNYC's Public Song Project, these millennial conservatory-trained musicians sing and play a variety of instruments. Expert and nuanced arrangers, their songs feature original settings of poetry and newly imagined arrangements of folk songs. Their intricate vocal harmonies over gossamer string lines creates a sound-world both intimate and intense, hopeful and haunting
Chloe Holgate is a versatile ensemble singer and soloist. Chloe recently made her soloist debut at Alice Tully Hall with the American Classical Orchestra. She has performed with TENET, Ensemble Échappé, Chatham Baroque, Folger Consort and the Prototype Festival.
