This concert marks the most ambitious undertaking of Capital City Concerts to date. French-Canadian Julie Boulianne, winner of the Prix Lyrique Français, has been acclaimed for the agility and expressive power of her dark-hued mezzo-soprano in a wide repertoire, with a special focus on the music of Mozart and Rossini. She and our instrumental soloists will be accompanied by a full orchestra of musicians from Vermont, New York City, Boston, and Montreal. This concert is funded in part through a bequest from the estate of Margot George, formerly of Montpelier, Vermont.
