Members of the Montreal Symphony, one of the world's leading orchestras, known or its precision and refinement, will perform a program which features Taneyev's stunning and masterful Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 30. The ensemble's recent performance of the Taneyev quintet received enthusiastic reviews and was subsequently recorded for the CBC. The performers are Luis Grinhauz (assistant concertmaster of the MSO) and Van Armenian, violins, Lambert Chen, (associate principal violist of the MSO), Sylvian Murray, cello, Berta Rosenohl, piano, with Karen Kevra, flute.
